I have resided in Sampson County, NC for the entirety of my life. I love North Carolina and believe that it is the best state to live in as it has a little bit of everything: small towns, big cities, beaches, and mountains.
I have a passion for serving our country, which pushed me to enlist in the military. I served as an Intelligence Analyst and Mental Health Specialist in both the NC Army National Guard and the US Army Reserves between 2013 and 2022. I chose to separate from the military to focus on my education and to have more time with my family, including my 5-year-old daughter.
I have served in multiple roles across NC over the past 8 years including the Dept of Public Safety, Dept of Justice, Dept of Transportation, and other local human services agencies. I currently hold a Masters degree in Human Services and will graduate from Liberty University with my second Masters degree in Spring 2024 in American Legal Studies.
I have always felt that progress on important issues has been stifled by elected officials prioritizing their interests above the interests of their constituents. I am running for office to give the Power back to the People!
